Gangotri - Gomukh Trek Itinerary
- Day 1: Haridwar - Uttar Kashi (BUS) - Night Stay at Uttar Kashi
- Day 2: Uttar Kashi to Gangotri (BUS) - Night Stay at Gangotri
- Day 3: Gangotri to Bhujbasa Trek 18 km - Night stay at Bhujbasa [Start at around 7:00 am - you will never get tired negotiating diversified trails]
- Day 4: Bhujbasa to Gomukh & Back to Gangotri - Trek 4 km from Bhujbasa to Gomukh & Back to Gangotri - [Start around 6:00 am, have a great stay at glacier and return at Gangotri safely before the dusk]
- Day 5 : Gangotri to Uttar Kashi (BUS)
- Day 6: Uttar Kashi to Haridwar (BUS)
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Moderate to Challenging at times

PERMISSION:
- Apply Online to get permit for walking through the forest area of Gangotri National Park from Gangotri to Gomukh. Fee Rs. 150 per person for Indians & Rs. 600 per person for foreigners
- Get a hard copy of application ready.
- Show that Hard Copy at the Single Window at DFO, Uttarkashi Permit Office. They will issue the final permit.
- While starting trek from Gangotri - within 1 - 1/2 km, the office of DFO, Gangotri National Park will appear. Here you have to show the permit. Carrying plastic is not allowed. If you carry plastic garbages, you have to carry them back while returning. For plastic garbages, they will keep a security deposit which is refundable.
